ROOF SIGNS & GRAPHICS

Your roof sign is a bit like your shop window - the cleaner and less cluttered it looks, the better the impact. Whilst we are happy to accommodate your choice of wording and line spacing, it is worth remembering that the most important message to get across is your school name and telephone number. Why waste space stating that you are a Driving school/School of Motoring, when it is obvious!

We only supply signage with a gloss white finish and only use quality long-life (5-7 year) vinyls which makes it easy to keep your vehicle display looking in tip-top condition. Simpler graphics can be cut from our stock range of vinyls, but for complex images and logos we use a Gerber thermal printer to fuse your design into the vinyl surface. You have a choice of three finish levels for your vehicle graphics:  

One Colour Signs:

This is the cheapest option and the price displayed includes your choice of text and typestyle cut from one colour in our standard vinyl range. For roof signs and magnetic door panels the red L is included in the price. Adhesive panels have to be printed so if you want the red L it counts as one colour. You are not limited to a set number of lines of text but we would suggest that three is a maximum for best advertising effect. 

Standard Choice Signs:

The price displayed includes your choice of text and typestyle cut from up to three colours in our standard vinyl range. For roof signs and magnetic door panels the red L is included in the price. Adhesive panels have to be printed so so if you want the red L it counts as one colour. You are not limited to a set number of lines of text but again we would suggest that three is a maximum for best advertising effect.

Multifinish Signs:

The price displayed includes unlimited content. You can have printed logos, coloured backgrounds, photographs etc. This level of finish is ideal for those who have had their graphics professionally designed and can supply artwork in Adobe PDF, postscript or illustrator formats. Alternatively we can redraft a logo for you if you supply us a basic design or only have low resolution files to work from.

You should choose the multifinish option if you want:

more than three colours of text

typestyles which are unsuitable for vinyl cutting

require non-standard vinyl colours

want to mix colours in lines of text

Proofs:

We can supply an electronic image showing the layout of your sign provided that we have a valid e-mail address for you. We will only supply proofs on request and only after a credit/debit card payment for your order has been processed. Allow three clear working days for a proof to be sent. Your order will not proceed until we have confirmation that you are happy with the proof and any amendments. If you would like a proof please ask in the 'personalise this product' box when ordering. Note that if you cancel an order after a proof has been prepared, an artwork charge of £20 will be deducted from any refund.

Vinyl Colours:

We use a high quality long-life (5-7 year) gloss vinyl for our signage. Standard colours for long-life vinyl lettering are as follows:

You can add metallic or reflective lettering and/or illumination at extra cost. You can purchase these options from our signs additions category.

TYPE STYLES:

This is just a selection, we have many others available - please ask if you know the font name you require.   

If we don't have the font send a sample (e.g. letterhead, business card) and we will try to match as closely as we can, or you can supply it to us by e-mail as a truetype (.ttf) file.  

LOGOS:

If you want to add a simple stock logo to your sign, choose from the list below and tell us which logo you want in 'personalise this product' box. If you are ordering a one-colour sign, the log will be cut in the same colour as the lettering.

We will be happy to supply your sign with a simple logo of your own design providing you can send it to us as a vector image (.wmf, .eps or .ai files).
